Can attendance be captured in a tamper-proof way?
Yes. LiteLog offers multiple safeguards against manipulation, including time-limited QR codes, kiosk check-ins only within valid time windows, optional location or beacon checks, and prevention of reusing old codes. This ensures attendance is captured only at the right time and place.
Do all users need their own smartphone?
No. The stationary NFC terminal works entirely without a personal smartphone: check-in and check-out with a personal card or chip. Supervisors can also record attendance manually in the portal. The kiosk screen on site shows a QR code that can be scanned with any smartphone – no app installation required.
Does the attendance control app work offline?
Yes. Scans in the LiteLog app – QR code as well as NFC – are captured even without signal: the app stores them locally and syncs automatically once a connection is available. The kiosk screen itself requires an internet connection and shows a safe default view during outages.
Are there automatic alerts for deviations?
Yes. LiteLog can automatically compare expected and actual attendance. In case of deviations — e.g., missing check-out or unconfirmed attendance — alerts are triggered, for example via push notification, email, SMS, or automated phone call. Optionally, an alive check can be activated during the shift.
