Q. What is a guard tour system?
A guard tour system (GTS) is a digital solution for documenting patrol rounds – for example by security services, caretakers or facility teams. Predefined checkpoints are scanned with a smartphone or a special device. The system automatically records time, location and user, stores the data tamper-proof and makes it immediately available for evaluation. This proves at any time that rounds were carried out properly, completely and punctually – an important basis for security, transparency and quality assurance.
Q. Do I need special hardware?
An NFC-enabled Android or iOS device is sufficient; for harsh environments we recommend rugged phones such as Samsung XCover.
Q. Can I bring my own checkpoints?
Yes, you can bring your own NFC checkpoints. We accept all common NFC tags.
Q. How is data protection ensured?
ISO 27001 hosting in Germany, TLS/SSH & full-disk encryption, role-based access (SOC 2 Type II, PCI DSS L1), automatic 24-h backups and 24/7 monitoring.
Q. Does the system work without internet?
Yes. In offline mode the app buffers all data for up to 48 hours and synchronises automatically as soon as a connection is available.
